Sierra Elementary School

I have been fortunate to serve in education for 20 years, including 10 years with the Lancaster School District. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to serve students in a variety of roles, including Special Day Class (SDC) teacher, general education teacher, and reading intervention teacher. Most recently, I spent two years serving as an Assistant Principal at Amargosa Middle School. Each of these experiences has strengthened my passion for education and deepened my commitment to supporting the whole child.

 

At the heart of my educational philosophy is the belief that every student deserves to be treated with respect, encouraged to believe in themselves, and given opportunities to succeed. I believe in our students and want them to know they can become whoever they aspire to be. My goal is to help create an environment where students feel safe, valued, supported, and confident in their ability to learn and grow.

 

As your Assistant Principal, I look forward to supporting our students and staff and partnering with our families to create a positive, welcoming, and successful school experience for everyone. I am especially excited to watch our students learn, grow, build confidence, and reach their goals throughout the school year.

 

Sierra Elementary is a special place because of the strong sense of community we share. I look forward to working alongside our dedicated staff, supporting our students, and continuing to build meaningful relationships with our families and community partners.

 

I hope everyone had a wonderful summer, and I wish our students and families a fantastic start to the new school year. Welcome back, Sierra Elementary! I am looking forward to a year filled with learning, growth, collaboration, and success!
